Still on Track for Nationals

It's been a while since we had a training update. There were a couple of hot days last week and that was the perfect opportunity to push hard and find everyone's limits. Training was difficult in the heat especially with fans and AC turned off. The goal was to find each students breaking point but everyone did well and we had plenty of cold water on hand to keep everyone going. Everyone is progressing well with their forms and soon we'll be able to focus on the little details of each Hyung. We even had a chance to spar in the oppressive heat (which is made worse by all the gear). This really tested the students but everyone did the best job they could. I told them that if they could spar in the hot dojang then they should have no problem in the cool gymnasium.
We don't always train in the heat like we did last week. Our air conditioning work great but sometimes it's good to get a hard sweat going and to push yourselves to the limits and see how far we could go. We cannot progress as Martial Artists if we don't constantly test ourselves and keep reaching new limits.
